mind blowing transfers is what Harry said a few weeks back...

and what have we got Austin, Dunne,Simpson,Henry and O'Neil!
I am so impressed I can barely find the right words to express myself.

and going into Sept with Austin, glass man Johnson and Zimmer frame Zamora as the strike force must have Watford, Wigan Bolton Reading and Forest etc quaking in their boots.

Did the transfer window suddenly close? Does anyone know who we've tried to buy but they won't come for whatever reason?

Some people have no patience. It's taken a while to get rid of some of the rubbish. That's a work in progress. So too is finding replacements.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Makes you wonder what the responses would be on here if we were united or arsenal fans this window?

The board have done a top job shipping out the ones who didn't want to be here, and they are trying to bring players in, but they are obviously holding out for PL teams to come in for them, which you can understand.

If we did sign Parker, Townsend & Defoe then considering our current position you could argue they would be mind blowing signings, just depends if they come off or not. Looking at the bigger picture though, Harry & the board are doing a good job. 1 win & a draw in the league and a team that seems together and wants to graft and get stuck in. People moaning seriously need to open their ******* eyes and look at the bigger picture.

Exactly this, it's been a pretty good transfer window so far...the building of a team is as much about who goes as to who arrives. Stil time to get a few more faces in. If those 3 happen to be the3 from spurs. Then this would represent the best transfer window we've had.

personally think we've done well, thought we'd be stuck with the likes of Bosingwa and Ferdinand. Couple more out the door and a couple of decent signings and job very well done
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

Wish we could get rid of the moaning gits on here like the board has from our dressing room.

Doing business late on just means you get bent over a little further by the agents, they rub their hands together this time of year.

Far better to have a settled unit in place for game one, leave the closing window to people like Kia and naive owners.

Can't argue your point, but just how realistic is it? Any player who is in demand (and their agent) is unlikely to just jump at the first offer to come along, especially if it's not from a EPL side. While there is plenty of window left, they can hold out for a better deal.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but I should think you would need to make some compromises over the players that you could get.
