Thats fair enough mate and tbh there have been some disappointments imo too - wanted Parker/Barton in the middle and Remy/Crouch up front and Townsend and some others and could have done that and still saved a fortune and I dont see the current squad finishing top 2. But so far Harry seems to be working with about 10% of the budget Hughes had - so unless that changes he cant hardly buy anyone really. Maybe the chairman will buy some. On the plus side - last May I would have taken the window, results, and performances so far.

I think you missed the point and I was replying to stanistheman - in summary : some disappointments but a good window so far and given the circs it could have been miles worse.
