    Forest bid £1.5m for Mackie

According to the Mail. I think we'd be daft to let him go but we'll see.

I would accept £1million and Cohen in exchange.
Cohen is quite versatile as well as can play midfield or left back.

I reckon Redknapp will want to get rid. Just read a Forest forum and they were talking about the possibility of signing him and most of em were creaming over it. Myself personally would keep him.

I'm not a fan at all of Jamie Mackie the footballer. The man 100% yes the footballer a resounding no BUT it is a stupid time to sell him if true. He'd do well in the CCC & we'll need his style.

Mackie is probably on a reasonable salary, and while he is a terrible winger, he would prove useful as a substitute striker at the Championship level, especially since some of our strikers are injury-prone. At that price, it would be better to keep him.

£1.5million for Mackie, and we got Blackstock back.
              Would you take it?

What about if it frees up the signing of both Hooper and Austin? Btw heard some mad stuff about Austin from a friend down in Swindon

Shagging the keepers wife, always out on the town shagging anything that moves, the club saying he's injured but really gone to rehab because of the powder. Sounds right up our street!

Well, if it's really down to Mackie or Hooper, it would be a good idea to sell Mackie and buy Hooper.

As for Austin, judging from what you and others have posted, it seems that he cannot be expected to play the full season without injury or some other problem.

One thing about Mackie is that he can play day in, day out. I think we need at least one or two strikers (even if they are subs) who can step up when our main strikers are injured.

If we were still in the PL I would probably feel differently, because Mackie has proven he cannot really score at that level. However, we are in the Championship and Mackie has also proven that he can score at this level.

Knew where the back of the net was last season though, was he on it then?

He's always banged in goals. Doesn't really bother as long as he does the same for us

Nor me, I would drive down every Friday and hook him up all season if he guaranteed me 20 goals back!!!

To be fair 1.5m is a good price for Mackie!

                                There's only one Jamie Mackie

A QPR man whose all action style you won't appreciate until its gone IF you're one of those who are expecting Messi to be pulling on blue and white hoops
This is the man who played a massive part in our platform for promotion until leg break, who kick started the climb to Prem safety when coming on v Liverpool and who will bag 10 goals in the NPC and work his backside off
Choice between SWP, Toilet and JM or even Aj, BZ and JM? No brainer for me
As for Hooper.... Are you people for real?! Sell a player who wants to play for us to provide funds for a player from a joke league who doesn't? Very sensible....
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
