Don't understand this gambling obsession with some people. The only blokes who ever win are William Hill and Paddy Power. Never hear of a skint bookie.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

This was put on the skysports transfer clockwatch last night...

Celtic manager Neil Lennon concedes that talks remain ongoing regarding Queens Park Rangers' move for Gary Hooper, but he hopes the striker stays. It was revealed earlier in the week that QPR had tabled an increased offer for Hooper.

Nothing wrong with a little flutter on the football at all. So long as you're not gambling more than you can afford to lose, that's when you're in a pickle. But the odd £10 accumulator on a Saturday is totally harmless - who cares if the bookies get rich, good on em, I'm all for a few small bets on the football, as are most blokes.

I agree to an extent, but tbh I love a little football acca, most I've put on is £10.

I took a gamble once and got my fingers well burned.

I bought shares in some football club in London W12.....

Can you rely on the odds from a bookie regarding which club a player finally will chose? Do they have inside info of real value?
                Care to explain?

The odds are based on the betting markets so the more money going on the player going somewhere the more the odds will shorten. Thats pretty much what happened with Scott Parker our odds of signing him shortened after some large bets were put on us getting him.

                    This.

All down to their liability. If, for example, a group of mates decided to have a grand each on, say, QPR to sign Danny Welbeck tomorrow at 100/1, the odds on that would probably come right in to odds on or even have betting suspended on it due to the sheer outlay the bookies would have should it come off. Hense I don't read into odds on next clubs too much - can be a few bets placed off the back of Twitter rumours that lead to the odds painting a false picture.

Or if you're behind on you're rent, have no money coming in anytime soon & the bloke down the boozer fancies a horse in the 4 o'clock at Kempton because it's name remotely resembles that of his ex mother-in-laws.
