Hopefully the common sense reason, that he either wants to come or not. If he wants to be greedy and hold out for something that suits him better, then fine. But we should never allow that sort of nonsense to adversely affect our own preparations.

I've clearly said what I've been told. Even mentioned how his parent club will deal with it e.g. saying he's not in the squad for their massive Champions League Qualifier because of an injury i.e. hamstring/groin injury.

Either my sauce is on the money or he's feeding me and the press with the same story and we are both taking it hook, line and sinker.
