Can I point out that we could had bought Hooper last year for £1m from S****horpe? Now we have to pay £7m for the same player.
I could make the same case with Austin whom we could had purchased for peanuts from Swindon.

We missed the boat and bought all the wrong players. I hope we don't pay the asking price as it just sickens me.

Hooper has been a Celtic for nearly 3 years, yes we could of bought him but only ever done it at 1 division level,when that was the price, but agree we should of bought him back then and I wouldn't pay anything near the 7 million if that's what they want celtic, no one will pay that then he leaves next year for f all, Celtic also paid 2.4 mill for him if I remember

I don't think its 3 years. He was at s****hopre not so long ago. But my point is, all the players like Hooper, Austin, Naugton, le fondre, townsend, Dervite etc. we could had bought for reasonable money like what swansea and norwich did.
