One of the things the team needs added to it is goals - lots of goals - and some safe bets to get em - proven players - and Hooper fits that reasonably well. But if he was just tacked on to last years team I dont think he would have scored lots - just because there were not lots of chances being created - mostly because the team was not even functioning as a team.
And just sticking Hooper up front alone next year would be playing to his weaknesses. He is 5' 9" any CD marking him beats him in the air and most FBs can match him for pace. To get the most out of a Hooper/Remy type they need a partner who can lead the line like Crouch/Zamora/Drogba whoever, or occasionally a different type works like Berbatov but that is in addition to the target man. Then if he has a partner that means 2 strikers which means only 2 CMs so CM needs strengthening. Which would explain why Harry seems to be after Parker/Crouch/Hooper in addition to a few others.Comment

No way is Austin a 1 season wonder. He's already had more than one good season.Well If he wants Norwich then I don't blame him. He played in Champions League so how comes he suddenly drops down to the Championship let alone that the SPL isn't better than the Championship.
As for Austin, my only worry is that he could have had one good season like Darren Ambrose.Comment
