Another Barton thread I'm afraid!

Newcastle fans loved him! Spoke to Pardew about him a couple of years ago and he never wanted him to go. Down to Ashley as, unfortunately, Joey never knows when to stay quiet. Hopefully his year in France may have mellowed him.

Pulled the same nonsense with twitter and let the club down after they stood by him on some public and not so public shenanigans, fair play to Ashley for standing up to him and his player power. At city before the game he was greeted home like an old friend by the staff and some of the players. By the end they had remembered why they got shot after watching him self destruct and try to nut a city player and kneeing agero. To top it all he pissess of anyone involved with City then trys to say he was evening it up. bringing us into disrepute!!!.

A very selfish human being im afraid and nothing good will come of him playing for us again.

its true that......toon fans loved him.......the place he's least popular is in the press and at QPR.........too late now but I would have put him in...good player
