    Another Barton thread I'm afraid!

Im sorry in advance but Harry has already come out and said that Barton does not want to play for QPR,so how can he???,we( hopefully) wont pay him off so he either takes less money to play in France, where he wants to be,or earns his money here.A good player who I feel we badly missed last year,a leader and a work horse( when he is bothered) but the fans won't accept him back will they,as he has said he doesn't want to be here.Only solution I can see for him is to accept less money and join marseille, but a fully committed JB could be the key for our promotion bid next season?

'A fully committed JB' is not going to happen is it? Too much water under the bridge, besides he had no chemistry for the club that is not the explosive kind.

Let's hope someone puts in a bid, get something from him in return.

If another team wanted him, we would have heard something by now. He is on too much money and nobody is going to step in and offer that amount. Apparently he wants to go to another club but for the same money. Not going to happen.

Would be nice to get a few bob for him but I'd settle for just terminating his contract.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Let him train with the reserve/youth team until he is annoyed and agrees to leave for free.

This is exactly the reason why we should let the silly sausage go.

Reckon he will be a Marseille player before the week's out.

Might be on his way to the airport, eurostar or just some sleezy strip club.

Up and off to training today. 1st day back. Like a new term at school. Albeit a school, you were once expelled from...

I like your 'train of thought' Bronx , BUT I spend a lot of my time devising ways to torture people (did we have a conversation in the Adelaide about this ?) and tied by their legs would result in a very quick death due to damage to the head.
Much more satisfying to tie someone by their hands so the legs 'wear away' first, more chance of them being conscious @ the other end to stub cigars out on ........

BUT hey-ho , maybe I'm just 'over egging the pudding' as they say !
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

                              I like your style NW!

I'm a fan of the old Roman torture treatment of placing a bowl of water on somebodys head & tying their winky in a knot and also their hands and legs together (so they obviosuly cannot remove the bowl). Keep filling the bowl with water so as to give the "victim" 2 options:

Drown or drink the water and wait for the stomach to explode when urination cannot take place due to the knotted winky.

Now in fairness I think this may be a tad OTT for our Joey - but a great way to treat peadophiles and the like.
