And why not stick to the team- and formation- that did so well against Soton, Sunderland and first half at Villa. Alright Adel got a goal, but our CM was endlessly overrun first half. Gave no protection to the defence. Only when Adel went on the left second half and when he went off did we get going. Samba cost us the points, but Adel in the middle in a free role gives us no chance. Weve tried it all fu&king season. He just makes us static and cannot do anything when we don't have the ball. FFS.

I have to agree with you on this one ...
Watched the game on telly and e didn't look like a team in the first half ..........You obviously can't legislate for Sambas performance .
Also we overplay the ball across the back too often .........Cesar , Bosingwa and Onouha are a f u cking liability with the ball at their feet .....puts us underpressure when they should just just clear their lines !!! -

The fact that Harry didn't start with 442- combined with Samba's inexcusable f@ck ups- is what's sent us down. Harry didn't play 442 because he inexplicably wanted to start Adel Taarabt. In spite of what we've seen this season and the past three games.Comment

Adel done more than the other 10 on the pitch today. Not his best game, granted, but a goal and winning the pen - who contributed more than him today?Other than maybe Mbia? You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Agree he was Poor to start with, but came into the game as the half went on. And I thought he was a lot better in the 2nd half..strange Harry took him off when he did!Comment

Taarabt produced results, as he sometimes can, and he deserves credit for that. The man has talent.
However, playing Taarabt can result in costs that are higher than the rewards, and this was such a game. We have seen such games throughout this season, and it was our losing formula.
HR must have had a reason for not sticking with the winning formula of the past few games, but whatever his reasons were, it did not pay off.
I don't feel like re-doing the math now. Maybe later.Comment

If you watch the 3rd goal again it's because adel didn't track the bloke with the ball he then had the freedom of the city to run at our defence. Lazy farker and now too much of a liability to have in the team ATM. Would rather Hoilett be given a run now til end of seasonComment

What could Adel do with these mess in our defense ? one goal and a penalty is the max a midfielder could give in an away game. what more you want so?TaarabT AbdelComment

He wern't brilliant, but was far from the worse of our problems yesterday. It seemed he didn't play his own game, played safe most of the time. The 2 times he done what he is good at he produced. Only time he ran at Fulham he scored, then the only time he tried trickery he won the pen.
We are as good as down now, and the only way we are going to stay up IF by some miracle we do is by attacking and winning games, so for me he has to play every game now.@chrisrobson9Comment
