Start him, get samba to come and mistime a tackle on a Charlton player and accidentally go through Charlie instead. Put him out of action for 6 weeks then we get to keep him. Bobs ya uncle

Should Charlie start against Charlton?

When asked point blank whether Charlie would start, CR replied along these lines: "If fit and available he will be in the squad, let's just say that".
I'm thinking subs bench, which I agree with.
Start with a team that is 100% committed without any distractions, and bring on Charlie as a possible game changer if you have to.Last edited by dsqpr; 07-08-2015, 03:13 AM.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. Like ya thinking Fordy, trouble is Samba will probably miss Charlie, injure himself, then get sent off.Originally posted by Fordy View PostStart him, get samba to come and mistime a tackle on a Charlton player and accidentally go through Charlie instead. Looks like the man himself is raring to play, so a no-brainer IMO:Originally posted by dsqpr View PostShould Charlie start against Charlton?

To be honest I don't think his commitment was ever in question, his focus may have been a bit wayward before with all the transfer talk but, even if that was still as rife as it was, I reckon he would still put a great shift in for us to the very end.Top Scorers 2018/2019

Agreed, not sure he will start though. Polter has played all the pre-season friendlies and started last weekend... I think he will be given a chance.Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostTo be honest I don't think his commitment was ever in question, his focus may have been a bit wayward before with all the transfer talk but, even if that was still as rife as it was, I reckon he would still put a great shift in for us to the very end.

Yeah I agree with that, he has had more of a pre season than Charlie has and I would start him up top too. Charlie on the bench and bring him on if needed.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostAgreed, not sure he will start though.
