Based on what were producing and seeing now what are your thoughts do we have enough about us to turn over those around us and stay up??

That applies to the others sides down the bottom as well mate, the difference being they are all not playing very well to begin with.Originally posted by Garyd73 View PostBased on how we are playing now the next two months will be very good for us and we will stay up, however with suspensions and injuries and general fluctuations we aren't going to play this well all season

If points were based on performance i wd agree with you, we are playing as well as I can remember us playing in ages, but will only feel confident once we close out a couple more wins - and soon.Originally posted by surrey_hoop View PostWhen you see sides like Palace, Burnley, Villa, Leicester and how consistently poor they are, I would be absolutely astonished and deeply disappointed if we can't finish above those 4 at least.

Obviously points are of the utmost importance, but I just can't see any of the sides I mentioned getting the 10 wins needed to (as a rule of thumb) ensure survival. Seeing as we also have most of them at home between now and Xmas, I see no reason why, given our current performances, we can't amend our current situation whilst applying the pressure on them. We also have a proven PL goalscorer in our ranks in Austin, which Burnley, Leicester and Palace don't have - that counts for an awful lot in this league. If we are out of the bottom 3 by Xmas, we'll stay up comfortably in my opinion.Originally posted by stainrodisalegend View PostIf points were based on performance i wd agree with you, we are playing as well as I can remember us playing in ages, but will only feel confident once we close out a couple more wins - and soon.
