People like you friends are the ones who can't be bothered to vote, Brexiters will vote come what may.Originally posted by Jeems View PostPeople wanting change generally shout the loudest. Now I think I can confidently say that you can't honestly tell me you have known of one teacher that has been dismissed on the grounds of being totally incompetent

They're all voting, they were genuinely surprised when I asked which way they were voting. "Why would anyone want out" was the typical response.Originally posted by cross it Dave View PostPeople like you friends are the ones who can't be bothered to vote, Brexiters will vote come what may.
I was walking down Chiswick high road last week, they had a bunch of In campaigners - there was nothing to campaign for really as everyone who walked past were saying "yep, voting in, give me an In sticker" etc.
In conclusion: well off folk will vote in, their current lifestyle is unaffected by the EU at the moment. Why even risk a couple of years of economic downturn? Shocking lack of foresight but people will vote depending on their own circumstances, not for the greater good.

The question is wrong and flawed to start with. We're being asked to vote on whether we want to 'remain' in something which we were never given a vote/choice/consultation to join in the first place. Pretty much sums up the problem IMO. Just on those grounds alone it has to be OUT.

'Anyone who tells you they KNOW what’ll happen if we leave the EU is a liar.'
