I do wonder if Burrell was signed as back up for kone given we’d got poku dembele saito smyth as width and with Burrell looking more dangerous it’s made us use kone deeper, and if that’s the case once chair is finally fit he’s has to play as a 10 and go 4-3-1-2 out wing play is just too poor tbh dembele and smyth can’t cross saito too lightweight and poku sadly plagued by a hamstring problem who from watching him at pboro is miles better than the others if fit sadly he’s running on a mud heap out wide which don’t help

I'd like to see a reshuffle in our coaching staff. Looking at this season the defence has definitely been allot better, probably because we aren't trying to faff about with it and dunne moving into the middle has been a big factor. I do think we'll see Edwards starting today which means a rest for Cook who has been v good recently. Edwards being a allot more cultured gives us an additional attacking threat which I like. You have to give Steve bould some credit, I think bringing in a player with his experience is huge and we look far more organised at the back. The clear issues are in the forward places. I know many of you don't like ex players beings brought in because you think it's too sentimental but for me whether it's on a part time basis but Kevin Gallen would be a brilliant appointment. The bloke talks complete sense and players like Kone who looks completely lost even to the point of a positional sense would reap the rewards with Kevin giving him some strong advice. They both never really had much pace and yet Gallen was a world class striker before his horrific injury. I'm surprised we don't bring him in because not just with Kone he could help other attacking players like Demeble and other that just aren't performing to the level we require.
