RND has had a nice holiday and training camp in the alps and doubt he'll get any minutes under his belt. I don't think Jimmy got any minutes, but is probably nursing a hangover from the RoI exploits and Sat might feel like a come down. I have no idea whether Smyth, Varane, Burell, Haydon or Kone got any minutes or where they've travelled to?
On past experience, everything seems to suggest it will be a laboured performance from the Rs. Hopefully the Hull squad have players who've been on their travels too. I guess a draw would be a decent result, even though we need a win.

Yes. This weekend feels weird, almost like first game of season when you really don't know what to expect. I suppose it's down to our inconsistency, a manager who has chopped and changed too much and a two week break every effing month.Originally posted by 72bus View PostAgreed anything could happen
Best part will be finding out who has got injured despite supposedly having a rest. My money's on Cook or Morrison.

Surely he’s got to pick the same side that got us the point away to the Blades? Back 4 looked solid, more compact and better going forward switching Mbengue to RB and Dunne to CH. Obviously Hamer in net was also a massive positive on Nardi not being able to command his area. So for me, at least I hope he sticks to the same back 4 with Hamer in goal.

I dunno if they're still on the scene but didn't we have some tech-bro sports science mob doing consultancy for us fairly recently? They had metrics and analysis that allegedly could calculate when a player was likely to breakdown with injury due to overdoing it. Sounds like cobblers to me but I can imagine Nourry lapping it up and leaning on the manager to pay heed to their findings.... I'm guessing their data will suggest that anyone who played/travelled during this break should be rested.

It’s not Saturday yet !Originally posted by Sleeping Giants View PostPoku and JCS are both available
As someone who’s seen loads of Poku for pboro he will make a huge difference to the side, jcs has the ability of a mid lower prem defender just can’t stay fit enough for a run of games
not a must win Saturday but could do with a win to get us going again not a bad performance at Sheffield Utd but never really looked like getting the win
