Yes, he is a decent player, but one that isn't performing to the level expected of our marquee signing in the championship. I'm not saying he's a duff signing, but if we get our money back, we can spend that in areas of more need. I'm fine if he stays, and fine if he goes.

From what I've seen Madsen doesn't have the heart for a Championship battle. In championship terms he's a bit of a luxury player, but without the goals and assists. If the data is correct, then at €4m he's not pulling his weight. I think he's more used to continental football, or pushing up to a nos 9. He has scored goals before.

I dont think we should write him off just yet. Like Saito he has improved imo.

In my opinion he is the best young player (as in genuinely one of our own youth players) that we have produced in years, I would say as far back as Gallen. You can understand why West Ham were pushing so hard to get him years ago.

And finally we have hit jackpot on a Spurs cast off in Morgan, we must have bought over a dozen from them since Crouch and none of them were good enough for first team. Morgan has it all as a centre midfielder or even playing behind the striker, best presser we have at the club. Come on Madsen learn from this kid!

With Cooky out for the forseeable, is it too soon for JCS to start against Swansea or will we need Dunne to slot into CB?

Fox most likely I would have thought, with JCS getting 30mins. Bit soon to start a full game pethaps.

We also have Field as a make shift CB if it gets to bare bones.
