Not long home , HQ felt a happier place tonight.
Field motm for me he was everywhere .
2 great saves from Nardi to thwart Ellis sims .
JCS tidy all night , cook won everything in the air ...chair was off tonight seems to have gone backwards .

What a load of crap again. I honestly thought Marti was going to be a decent manager when he first came here, he was saying all the right things like i always want to attack and win football matches. He got the team organised defensively and organised us at set pieces etc. He has got his own players in the last 2 transfer windows. BUT i just can't see a pattern of play apart from pass it around at the back then give the ball away, we are very negative and only seem to press teams when we are behind and the other team sit back because they are ahead , prime example tonight. I would like to see us change manager , i just don't think Marti is the man , even though he kept us up last year , since he's been here i think its only Leeds and West brom at home last season that we've looked a decent side, most other games that we won , we just scraped a result. I can't stand watching our boring football and i'm certain we will get relegated if Marti stays , he's a bluffer.
Must also say some of our signings are absolute crap as well. Never thought i would see a worse centre forward than Dykes but Celar is absolutely pony. Madsen is a tortoise , Santos worst brazilian player ever and what was the point of getting Ashby on loan if he is'nt good enough to start in place of Dunne.

I was wondering the same. We ended up giving Dozzell nearly 100 appearances, and he was proper crap. I doubt if we have seen the last of Madsen just yet.Originally posted by LordLoftus View PostDo we think that maybe Marti is being forced to play Madsen maybe as he was the big data analytical purchase and needs to work to prove the system works?
Just wondering out loud.

Worked hard for a point against another poorish side. But still at least some positives - Saito, Varane, Morgan. Let's hope we can build on it. Too often exposed badly at the back.
Missed Frey I think. Now for some tough teams!!!!!

Verane and Morgan have certainly put some grit into the midfield.

Gave 100 percent tonight no complaints there. Bit more quality on the ball and a different result. Going home happier than Saturday

Something to build from. Very impressed with Verane and great technique from Morgan for the equaliser. It looks like Marti has found his key players to work with. I think Paal and Madsen are going to find it very difficult to get back into the team.

I didn't get to watch this but it sounds like we grew into the match and the young subs gave us a good spark, it would sure have been nice to finally win at home but I suppose this is an ok point after conceding so early!

Good to see Varane bigging up Morgan at final whistle, it shows that the team is together to me but still need results.
