First real chance to see the team play a full game, very impressed with that, Paal and Laird look outstanding additions, Dunne solid as always, Chair and Willock need no mention, Roberts done well, young Tim will grow as the season goes on, but the absolute surprise is Steff!! I don't know what has happened to him over the summer, but he is a totally different player to last season, back to what he should be!!
I'm going to the Stoke game on Saturday, I can't wait!!
That's 9 points from 12 now, that's real form, and progress, couldn't be happier!!

Had the game on via Plus, but was working so had the sound down and missed a fair bit of the game.
Great win and a clean sheet was just what we needed.
I noticed when Chair was being subbed, the ref was arguing with the Wall manager, apparently he wanted Chair to go off by the other side line, and ref was trying to explain he couldn't as Wall fans were throwing things at the Rangers players over there.
If true, what happened to the zero tolerance approach to incidents like this?Minds Are Like Parachutes.

[QUOTE=QPRDave;n2581581]My main problem if that's what you call it, is I'd have Dunne starting every game.
But I was also very impressed with Balogan.
So that leaves a new signing and Dickie on the bench, whatta a nightmare......Good one though [/QUO
I don't think it's just coincidence that we kept a clean sheet without Dickie in the team , i've said it for the past couple of years that he is not a good defender , he is so slow and for his size is very weak and gets brushed aside very easily. In my opinion i think he will struggle to get back into the side now .
Decent performance last night but i would still like us to dominate games a bit more , we rode our luck a few times and we give the ball away a little bit easily and against better sides will get punished for that. The full backs were very good last night and Balogun is a calming influence at the back . Iroegbunam looks decent and i think will improve as the season goes on , Willock was having a poor game but he can produce a moment of magic at any time , Chair was good and worked his socks off , Roberts also worked hard but i'm not sure his is a number nine , it is a shame we could'nt get Archer as i think we could definately of made the play offs maybe even automatic. Oh well a good win at a hard ground to go , now don't go and mess it all up by losing to Stoke.
