I hope Paal is our answer for the left back position and I’m glad he has started with a back 4 it should make us a little harder to break down. Other than that it’s same old. We struggled to create chances last season however that may have been down to the formation Warbs played. I’m optimistic and praying for a good result however never positive travelling to Ewood park and looking at the starting line ups they look stronger

I don’t mind giving Shodipo a chance, but away from home this looks weak too me (I would think starting him at home made more sense). I hope he plays well, as otherwise where is the creativity? No Willock and no Albert. This side doesn’t exactly scream chances. In Beale we trust I guess.Comment

Just can't see this side getting anything. Might get away with a 2-1 defeat and have at least 2 of our shots on target, I suppose. We've got to hope Willock gets and stays fit and when the 1-2 loanees come in they are half-decent.Comment

Few players missing, but honestly don't see Blackburn's team being much better than ours. Fairly even. Most games will be against teams with similar player ability to ours.Comment

Bit of a worry in 1st 15 mins. Midfield not moving or getting into space so defence just launching the long ball going nowhere. We look very staticComment
