Best form of defence is to attack?

Why does Holloway set up such a negative team with a lack of forwards? I know we dont have the best players in the league but if you look at the teams doing well they set up with 3 or 4 attacking players , us 1 or 2? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out you need to score goals to win games and I'd rather see the team head out into games with the intention of winning rather than sitting back attracting all the pressure trying to sneak a goal . Need to be more positive having 5 defenders on isn't the answer!
