He played in the behind closed doors friendly ewrlier in the tour. But i think it is becoming clear he is fragile and cant play to often which is why we got bidwell in. Look at end of last season played once in april and then not again , the rest of the season.

I agree, what a fantastic goal keeper. I would say that on QPRs YouTube a recent video shows Smithies training so perhaps it's a rest so the injury doesn't flair up

Smithies is quality but realistically is a PL club going to sign him and make him 1st choice? Can't see him leaving myself.
