I just hope we can keep the squad together to see where the team can take us. I know I've been disappointed by Varane and keen to cash in on him, but hes been vastly improved in the last two games.

Every player ran themselves ragged tonight. Ice bath time and keep those energy levels high on Sat. We dont want a lethargic performance on Sat after tonight's efforts....please!!

I do sense that the "band of brothers" mentality that Derry and Hill fostered on our last promotion campaign is re-surfacing with this lot. Gotta give JS credit for that I think - players seem to be all together and fully onboard with him.

I thought the whole defence were excellent tonight , Nardi is a liability on every cross. The forward four worked their socks off shutting down and did'nt allow Brum an easy way out.
Brum were poor and no way will their manager see out the season.

Burrell ran himself into the ground again , both teams were poor , think we wanted it a bit more ....most of the fans where I was sitting in the SAR had called it a night after the Patrick Roberts goal ......Take a bow Kieran Morgan.

After the WBA and Brum games I'm wondering if it's more of a case that we are horrible to play against so we should give ourselves more credit than we think? Solid defence and two hardworking strikers is flummoxing the opposition I think.

We are horrible to play against at times. Everyone closes down across the whole pitch, even the smaller more sleight players. When we have that mentality in a game we look solid. Difficult to maintain game in game out though.

Brum very poor going forwards and we should have tied things up before they equalised. We just seem to struggle to create decent opportunities, particularly for our strikers. Lots of trying to stretch defenders but we lack directness at times. Morgan's goal was refreshing, and a surprise to both teams, as rather than pass or cross which everyone expected he just shot hard at the goal. Maybe the lesson is a bit less fiddling and a bit more directness at times. We are doing a lot of good things and a tweak or two in our play could see us stay in the top 10 which after years of carp would be great!
