Whisper it quietly, this team is getting better every week, totally deserved victory against a negative boring team, they were time wasting most of the game and created 1 chance, which their forward somehow managed to miss.
We look dangerous going and work hard to win the ball back, cannot fault anyone as they all worked hard.
The front 2 will cause many teams problems and Vale has a touch of class about him.
The squad now looks very strong.

Decent performance and great to be a QPR fan at the moment, my weekends are so much better when we win .
Kone and Burrell a proper handful , Saito was excellent and Vale has a quality left foot on him. Madsen was good , had his best game in a Rangers shirt . Defence coped well but was still nervous every time they put crosses in.
Have sussed why Nardi is poor at crosses , he bottles it and is scared to get hurt , though better than Walsh with the ball at his feet.
Like others have said , we have a decent bench now , especially when Chair and Poku come back , onwards and upwards Rangers .
Also how refreshing to not watch that negative Martiball anymore.

Not sure it's fair calling Stoke boring? They were the away team but contributed to a great game of football. We have to expect wily experienced Championship campaigners like Robbins to leverage any and all means of winning as part of their game plan. We dealt with it by staying positive, maintaining shape and composure and carving out chances.
I know we have some injuries but this lot is rapidly looking like our de facto starting XI and deservedly so too.

My biggest positive is Julien though - he has totally transformed us from a being a bunch of over-cautious pussies into a dynamic fluid attack-minded unit.

Boring in the sense that they did their best to stop the game, lying as if dead on the floor then jumping up, forever trying to con the ref, had only 2 chances in 90 minutes, and i honestly thought it was more like a Stoke team under Pullis.
Had 1 good winger and an excellent goal keeper, that was it.

Excellent performance but the test will come when it comes time to switch a few players to avoid injuries. They do tend to do this and I wouldnt be suprised to see Frey & Kolli being involved in the next game. I was suprised to see Kone finish the game because he was starting to look a bit leggy imo.

I think that's a good spot about Nardi. The mere presence of the Stoke player nearby (who wasn't actually moving or threatening to get the ball) seemed to unnerve Nardi and resulted in him flapping at a ball that looked like it was begging to be caught or at the very least firmly punched 30yds away - if he's wary at going for a virtually uncontested ball because he might receive some minor collateral contact it does make you wonder about his mindset when faced with a crowded 6-yard box.
