I take your point and you may well be right. But Harry played him as a lone striker v Chelsea, and he did keep coming deep for the ball as it's his natural game to look for it.Originally posted by hal9thou View PostHe's a 9, I know it....
Proper 9s take defenders on and shoot at will and have good upper body strength. He's got it all. Chelsea was Harry's toe in the water. Please god...

that's been the problem for us all along and why we've been easy to keep out. It depends on the back line you play against - Arsenal lost today because the line was high with not much speed and they were horribly vulnerable to balls played in behind. Against a deep back four then 9 has to link up more, but at least Adel can turn and that is a massive bonus.Originally posted by Stanley76 View Posthe did keep coming deep
I'd be really sad to see him leave the club without properly trying this, the problem of course is that stakes are massive right now. I'd still try it again.

It sounds like you're saying you'd like him played as a striker in a 4-4-2 because you don't see him as a hold up merchant...Originally posted by hal9thou View Postthat's been the problem for us all along and why we've been easy to keep out.
