            This being the guy who cared so little for the club he got needlessly sent-off during our most crucial game in years? Not to mention was utterly useless for the large majority of his only season with us. France can keep the *****.

                            Both totally over rated imo but Joey could have been useful for us this term. He was deemed surplus to requirements by you know who.

                                            Had we kept Joey Barton, would we have avoided this car-crash of a season we've all endured? I don't know.
                                            Personally, I would have kept Joey here. We could hardly have done worse, with him in the side.

                                                        we wouldn't be bottom with Joey? Not sure how we work that out when he was about our worst player for nearly all of last season and had to be booed off to even make an effort. Worst captain we ever had and extremely average player.
