The thing that amazed me watching him for us was how physically weak he was, teams would run straight threw us and on majority of one on ones he would end up on the floor. Phyisically he was a lot weaker than I thought, to a stage where I thought his shorts were too big for him.

Bryan Robson had a similar physical build but I cannot recall him losing many midfield battles but Joey is a lightweight. I've never feared for one of our players as much as as when I thought kompany was going to be let lose on him.

JB ranks as one of the worst signings in our history and that is saying something, apart from being rubbish, was destructive, disloyal and never a QPR type of player, completely alien concept to our beloved club.

This . Joey is a muppet who reminds me of the typical playground bully , gives it large but has nothing to back it up with . Trades verbal insults with the best but when someone lays it on him he melts and falls over . Don't miss him one bit

Agree hoopz and ginger, I wouldn't of minded if he was genuinely hard like souness who was hated but respected but joeys the mouthy scrawny kid at school who is all mouth and when it kicks off runs to his dad or the teacher.
He lied about his own QPR colleagues and tried stitching them up FFS, poorly nourished weazel.

Rubbish banter Matty in my opinion. Makes Barton look like a total fool, and a childish one at that. ZI probably just smugly laughed to himself knowing just how superior he is to poor Joey in pretty much every aspect. He probably felt pity.

Loved the big nose banter :-) Barton was poor for most of last season but still better than Mbia/Granero/Diakite/Derry/Park and the other CM's we use currently.

Ibra has probably never heard of him. Like when Joey dug out Neymar for his England performance and in the press conference when Neymar was asked what he thought he replied who is Joey Barton? As someone has said above Ibra laughed at him knowing he is on a different planet to the nobody in wages, honours, ability, and life in general.
