All very convenient to #### off the transfer dealings. In case some fans memories are short we tried to sign loads of players but most weren't interested. Yes £12m could have got us any number of defenders but all theoretical as we wouldn't have got them. Remy unfortunately gets injured in training and all of a sudden is an awful signing? At £8m a good buy to put it mildly for someone of his age and ability. Townsend a loan punt, nothing to lose and looked great against Norwich, Jenas on a moderate contract who may or may not get anywhere near his previous form. Samba is a monster who is not yet match fit and is saleable if need be. We needed a dominant centreback and got one. The Korean kid we know little about and again doubt much money. Ben Haim on I imagine low salary to bulk out squad in an area we are very short. Given no bugger would sign for us think 'Arry did well. The squad he inherited was woefully unbalanced.
I would say 'Arry totally messed up in last two games but that his down to his selection rather than transfer dealings. Way too early the judge the latter.Comment

Look at Samba come may Spurs have always loved a power hse c/b
you dont think Spurs will let Townsend go can you see h8m shifting Bale or your other wide man . the deal Samba is on is compatable to what Spurs are payingComment
-
No I cant see him shifting Bale but he has potential, and we need a decent squad.
With Kaboul, Dawson, Jan I dont us us in the market for another CB this summer unless Kabouls injury is a bad one.Comment

its not the transfer dealings, as we beat Chelsea and nicked points of Manchester City and Spurs.
More to do with tactics and not changing the way we play against Norwich and Swansea. We have remained defensive, when we actually need wins.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Mate you wanted to chat ,Samba has a good 5 years on Dawson who AVB has been unsure of in the past a couple of iffy games and he could easely be on the out again, and to fair Samba is a better c/b than Dawson is at this stage of his career, Kaboul I dont know too much about ie age fitness so yes from here I could see a club like Spurs wanting move on and be looking to bring in playersComment

Problem we have is we are seen as a joke club and consequently no self respecting footballer would want to come to.
If we are honest if you were a quality player that had a good agent and you were mentally stable why would you come to QPR.
Zaha best championship player goes to man utd on a reported £35k p/w. we were paying a clown like Boswinga double that.
If you just wanted to do well in your career, why come to a club like ours that is just about to get relegated, is full of mercenaries and possibly going the way of pompey.
The only people we can attract are the likes of Park, bos,SWP, barton, Mbia and so on. Nobody normal.
Samba is quality but you've got to doubt his motivation for joining us considering in his prime he moved from an English club to a russian and then felt homesick.
The only bloke who wanted to come to us this window was odewinge and that just about sums us lot up.
I think the idea of building our club with lower league players was lost when TF took over, the takeover and subsequent sacking of Warnock didn't help, but during that summer we should have gone for the Zahas, snodgrass, longs, Graham's etc but the club was and continues to be obsessed with marquee signings. We had played week in week out against these players but we chose to ignore them and instead like chav lottery winners we went on a spending frenzy, looking abroad or for premiership outcasts.
We deserve to be where we and who we are.Last edited by TBLOCKRANGER; 10-02-2013, 04:12 PM.Comment

Dawson seems to have made a massive recovery in the eyes of AVB! we also have Caulker.Mate you wanted to chat ,Samba has a good 5 years on Dawson who AVB has been unsure of in the past a couple of iffy games and he could easely be on the out again, and to fair Samba is a better c/b than Dawson is at this stage of his career, Kaboul I dont know too much about ie age fitness so yes from here I could see a club like Spurs wanting move on and be looking to bring in players
I guess you could be right though, a couple of dodgy games and it could be curtains regarding Dawson, espcially if we are offered 9 million or so for him again, that is a lot of money, and Levy likes money.Comment
