I am actually a good laugh in real life, and there's not many things I take too seriously but racism is one of them.

It's only because people called out idiots for singing chants like this and throwing bananas onto the field that we have been able to move on from the 70s, when black players and fans would routinely be on the end of racist abuse. If you'd be fine with us going back to that era, then by all means keep singing songs about aids to a black african...

Please put your toys back in your pram. No I don't agree with all that at all - I can take things tongue in cheek and for what they are , ie a joke. Some people can't and that's fine I can see what you're saying but, I say, I take a jokey chant at football as just that - nothing more. So just because I found that particular chant quite amusing , doesn't at all mean I'm all for throwing bananas at black players for Christ sake - bit OTT with your "borderline racist" accusation.
