Harry has made peace with Bosingwa

HARRY REDKNAPP has made peace with QPR rebel Jose Bosingwa after heart-to-heart talks.

And the Portuguese full-back may even be in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Swansea.

Bosingwa, 30, has not played for two months and was clobbered with a £100,000 fine for refusing to sit on the bench against Fulham.

But boss Redknapp said: ''I’ve had a chat with Jose and as far as I’m concerned the matter is closed. It’s time to draw a line and all pull together.''

QPR’s fears that Loic Remy would miss two months with a groin injury have eased.

Scans showed only minimal damage and the new £8million striker could face Manchester United on February 23.

    Harry might have.

But I would imagine your average Rangers fan would be somewhat less forgiving.

I'd only forgive him if I could see he was giving his all on the field for us. He owes us fans and his team-mates an apology. Anyway, he'll have to settle for a place on the bench because Fabio and Onuoha have done superb for us at right-back recently

The Secret Football talks about how managers, when taking over an under performing team, often chose a scapegoat to take the blame for previous results, performances and attitudes. Its a good PR moment, and can be cathartic for the fans and players.

Seems the Bosingwa ostracism has served its purpose now, and HR isn't too impressed with Luke Young, and I'd imagine TF has pointed out that Bosingwa is going nowhere due to his ridiculous contract so we might as well play him.

Or, they've randomly decided to kiss and make up.

OK - firstly good news on Remy.

As for Bosingwa - he under-performed in games, but he didn't suddenly become a bad player, there will have been reasons for it. Possibly fitness, but more likely some serious issues in the background with the club/manager or team mates not helping.

Some may say that is no excuse, but surely it is good news if HR can turn this round and get another player performing well. It has to be.

I found it a little strange how once he had been labelled his every performance was looked at a dreadful, when he did ok in some games.

Also, some fans are very quick to forgive ceratin players and not others.

If HR has consigned this to the past and get improve our squad as a result - that is all fine with me.

Yeah like Adel who stormed off at HT in a match after being subbed lets not forget.... and on that anyone who actually bought the "he wanted to get back early to leave for an international get together" is beyond deluded.....

Bosingwa is a good player and can also play very well at CB a position we may need him more than RB. If Hill was iunjured, i actually think he and Samba could be a great pair, Sambas no nonsense and Bosingwa can play the ball out from the back better than HIlkl or Samba. He's also quick.

Lets just get behind him now.

Like half the squad then, or any prem squad for that matter.... It's par for the course and a key reason many relegated sides dont bounce back, because their sides are normally decimated with players leaving to stay in the prem with another club.

I think bosingwa is the opposite to a mercenary he wanted to play football do well for us get told he is on the bench and he is ****ed off. If he was a mercenary he would have been happy all day long to sit on that bench. His problem is just that he thinks he should start because of his history .

I wonder how many on here actually remember the Stanley Bowles era, went missing a few times before games, walked out of the team hotel on numerous occasions, refused to travel on a few occasions.............now I don't like what Bosingwa did BUT if he has sorted this out with Harry, then life goes on and as long as he gives 100% then what more can he do.
And don't give me the Chelsea card, we have had many hero's down here who came from the scum....Wicks, Webb, Hollins, Wilkins etc etc
