Have a think about why it might be in both TF and Samba's interests to downplay the salary received...

And I seriously doubt they would pay all of his wages when no one else apart from some poncy Greek club were after him. They had the negotiating power, not us.

Pretty much any decent level player at the end of their career gets offered insane wages to play over there, up to £250k / wk for some, and yet you seriously doubt they'd pay Cisse approx £60k... a former France international and Champions League winner....?? That is exactly the sort of profile player they bite your hand off for.

Would you have questioned Jim Gregory in the same manner back in the 60's and 70's ? The man who took Rangers and gave them the history we so wonderfully cherish, probably not in the most ethical way possible :-)
I really don't get it what you are exactly trying to achieve, I have a brain of my own and will make my own conclusions as to what I think of our board, rather than you making up supposed facts, which are just your opinion, unless you are TF's PA. Perhaps also if you made the headings a little less attention seeking then your opinion may be considered but to me you are just an attention seeker.

Samba has already said he took a huge wage cut. If we to down tony has said his wages get cut in half. A Greek paper reported that the reason they couldn't get cisse is because the Arab team offered to pay it all.

I couldn't care less about our wage bill. All players are millionaires now, our owners have huge personal wealth and choose to put their own money in. We don't owe banks, etc.
If we go down and the owners walk (which I don't think they will) we could sell players if we need to.
I think there would be plenty of takers for Cesar, Tarbs, Samba and Remy for starters. Those 4 alone would bring in £25 million.
Never understand why fans are so bothered about club finances, we ain't going out of business, we're not in debt, so what's it got to do with anyone.

Qataris are paying the whole of Cisse's wages (common knowledge I thought).
