Not sure I agree with W12 - I think he looked a great buy.
Having said that he has hardly played much recently and spoke himself about the fact that he is injury prone, and the slightest things sideline him, so to sign on a deal with a get out clause with relegation, could mean we pay him 80k a week (guessing the wage as I don't know it) and only get a couple of performances from him.
That would be dreadful for TF and the fans.

[QUOTE=3London;1029407]Based on the fact that he had started 1 game this season prior to us signing him , is already known to be a crock, by his own admission goes missing in games and looks like more of a winger than a striker. Add to this his relegation clause and you have one rank bad signing who I have absolutely no faith will score the goals to keep us up even if he was fit all season which incidentally I don't think he will be as the slightest niggle will sideline him.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostRemy was a rank bad buy in the first place we only have ourselves to blame[/QUOTE
Rank bad buy?!based on what? A goal on his debut? A strong performance against the league champions? Or a desire to have a good moan?

If he is sidelined for a few weeks and we don;t see much of him it will prove to be a bad buy, but that is the beauty of hindsight. At the time it looked like a great buy and could still turn out to be.Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostSo basically he is a bloody buy
Yes, maybe it was risky, but when you are bottom and not a "big club" and in our situation - sometimes risks are required.

No need to take the risk though was there plenty of players available at that price ....typical flash arry signing has the hallmarks of John Utaka written all over itOriginally posted by silvercue View PostIf he is sidelined for a few weeks and we don;t see much of him it will prove to be a bad buy, but that is the beauty of hindsight.
