Biggest scapegoat if there is one. He's the only one who's actually tries different things for us unlike the others meaning he's more noticeable and therefore people are quick to blame him for everything.

Other than his usual target man/hold up play he did have one great shot destined for the bottom corner only for Schwarzer to pull off a world-class fingertip save, but I know what you mean.

Yes he is killing us, why is he continually left out by every manager he has ever had, why has no team come in for him, please look beyond the pointless step overs and occasional spectacular goals. He has no logical place in any team.

Play him in the hole behind the striker and your opportunities to score are few and far between as he continually comes short to get the ball like the kid in the playground. Result is we have few players in the box and every time he comes short the opposition squeeze the space stopping the other players finding space.

Play him as an out and out striker and can't/wont compete for any ball in the air. Again he will come short because he has to get the ball because its all about him and again the opposition will squeeze the play.

Play him wide and he can't/won't defend meaning the central midfield players get dragged out of position the full back on his side gets isolated. he will also wander inside to get the ball again taking everyone space.

In football you make runs to either create space for yourself to receive the ball or to create space for others to exploit. Watch Tarrabt he only ever comes short thus neither creating space for himself or others. Whatever level you play at the basics are to create space to play in when you have the ball and condense the space when you dont have the ball. With Tarrabt in the side the opposition don't have to condense the space as he does it for them. Why do you think we have scored the fewest goals in the Prem, and only when he was left out did we start to create and score reguarly. If he could change games like he did in the Championship then it's worth playing him but that was his level and he can't have the same consistent affect in the Prem.

Very good analysis of the weaknesses to Taarabt's game. Can't really argue with any of that.

The perfect example of a player who thus far in his career has relied solely on his natural ability and not been motivated enough to put the graft into working on his deficiencies. If he were to do that he could go on to become a true great but at 23 he still hasn't shown enough evidence of it. As Shaun Derry said the other day on TS, it really is completely up to him how far he wants to go in the game. There is only so much a manager and coach can do to teach him.

Agreed. Last match was an exception. But well done to him!

More points this clowns cost, turns his back in the wall when he could have headed it away and game over. There again he does do headers does he, but still his fan club will defend him

Your vendetta against him is becoming embarrassing mate. How you can blame him for that is a joke - blame the pointless stupid fouls around our penalty area.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You really are a fool. He was the only one in the wall to even jump. How about we blame the clueless, clumsy Stephane Mbia for giving away the needless foul in the first place. Getting rid of Faurlin and not playing Diakite instead of this clown have cost us this year. He does'nt even look like a footballer at times. Agree he does some good things, but on the whole he is poor.

Both, if you're not prepared to take one for the team, you shouldn't be in the wall.
That is what the wall is for, to block, not duck!
