Chairman risks £20m to keep Rs in top flight

Telegraph saying we will spend £20m to get Samba and Crouch, on top of the £8m for Remy and a few coppers for "Suck". So with the Haim "free" (there is no such thing in football) we are looking at £30m in this window alone, on top of £20m odd in the last window.

And the worst part? We will all be ecstatic about Samba but five minutes later we will be saying "shame we couldn't have landed Krancjar or the French bloke because we need more creativity in midfield." And if we go down those players we sign won't be worth anything like what we paid for them. Yet Tony has to risk all or we are down. Who would be a football chairman, eh?

He has to "risk" that because if we go down it will cost a lot more.

If we don't address it tomorrow lack of MF creativity still a worry for me.

Is it Tony taking the risk, or QPR football club, because ultimately that's where the debt will be lodged if all goes pear shaped and the owners walk.

I already am saying we need more creativity in the middle of the park haha. We're not scoring from set pieces which makes it even more imperative we create enough chances in open play. Most teams get a fair % of goals from set pieces, one of the reasons we really struggled since coming up.

I think anything over £3m is way too much..... i thin k£3m is too much, but to be fair the article suggests Stoke want £6m for him.

Yep but if you read the article it says Samba is £12.5m, the figure that triggers the release clause.

Would be nice, wouldn't it. I can just see Becks crossing into the box for Crouch too.

Still think we messed up by not going for Sneijder when we had the chance though

We got a point against Man City. I was at work while the game was on, so I figure that counts haha. Am taking my lad out on Saturday, so hopefully my hoodoo will again not count.
