    Newcastle spending big...

    Defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa from Montpellier on 5 1/2 year contract for £7 million and Bordeaux Striker Yoan Gouffran has announced on his twitter that he will join them tomorrow.

    Interesting reading... Hope it goes #### up for them!

                                                  Newchâteau are bringing in some decent players, Gouffran USED to be a pretty promising striker at Caen but I remember when he signed for Bordeaux he went about 20 games without a goal. Hope he repeats this! Not sure how good that Mbiwa is as i've no longer got the french leagues out here on the satellite but seems to be pretty highly rated.
