Agreed, really poor player in my view who remains popular with supporters because of his work ethic. I didn't rate him at Championship level. Not bad in front of goal, but no physical strength or crossing ability whatsoever.

Amazing to think he cost £800,000, back in the days when that was a lot of money for our club. As you say, should have been farmed out to Charlton or somewhere equally mediocre a couple of years ago - looked good on loan then as soon as we paid a fee for him turned into a sort of overpaid snowflake.

Worth £2.8 million on Fifa 13 though

i seem to remember he was seen as something special when he was at colchester, kept on hearing his name mentioned. then they came came to LR he did little to impress me and we beat them and i won a nice wedge at the bookies.

                Im shocked by this.

                1. How can anyone say that Hogan doesnt work hard???
                2. Played a huge part in our title winning season
                3. 100% a championship player and on his day and in form with a run off games he can play in the Prem IMO!!!

Hogan has never been a bad player for us tbh .... in the prem he never got a go at it and tbh the guy has never done anything wrong to us apart from being loyal!!

Funny that since 1brow refused to be sub, that not 1 player has even spoke anything good about him.
Hogan is just a hanger on, he used to lick Fitz Halls ar*e when we all thought he was sh*t

Hogan is never a Premiership player. None of or last 3 managers have given him any game time in the Prem and to be honest it still baffles me how he made the squad and DJ Campbell didn't!

Regardless of whether Hogan has a beef? the ****** that is Bosingwa refused to sit on the bench/ play for our club when being paid £65k a week to do so. Hogan needs to remember who pays their. Exuberant wages, and regardless of what happens the fans will never except Bosingwa now? And I for one never want to see him in an Rs shirt again. Get rid ASAP

My point about Hogan is this. I now agree that someone like DJ and Young are off better value to be in our 25 man squad. I think Hogan currently is at best a Champ player.

Im just saying fans should NEVER say he never worked or works hard because thats a load of old tosh. The guy is loyal and always put in a shift at QPR and tbh he has been given false hopes with us.

a huge part? are you sure? He's better off moving on and finding a league 1 team where he might get a game.

I remember when I was watching The Four Year Plan, Hogan seemed to be like an unofficial players spokesman. Very confident and not afraid to speak his mind.
