    A slightly different thread...

So a lot of talk is about transfers and I would be lying if I said I hadn't been regularly checking for updates regarding Mr M'Vila (Who I think would be an amazing signing - seriously good)

BUT - We all thought we had a good midfield at the start of the season and I do believe whoever we put out each week, that it will always look good. strong in depth and full of quality in any formation. (IMO)

HR - is currently getting the most out of every player currently IMO the defence being the biggest change.

However, I find it very strange that he is looking to bring in 2 NEW CM players in this window.

im not doubting the quality of these two at all, i honestly believe both are top class, especially Yann. Young and powerful and just what we need.

    1. M'Vila - Creative and strong. Can play a decent pass. Someone who can play with Granero and Adel and get the most to players like Remy and even Bobby. (Basically no excuses, more options and end product)
    2. Livermore - If we do get Jake, I think Harry will be looking to replace him with derry. Although he has been doing a sterling job, i do think we lack some young legs who can go the extra yard.

Does this show not only how he clearly does not rate certain players e.g. Diakite and Faurlin or does it show that he has an idea of who he wishes to play, what formation he wants and what formation is the best for what we already have (something Hughes never knew and completely ****ed up in the summer, hence why we have a mix match team full of ****ing midfielders and no strikers)

I dont want Harry to over do it this window. For me, we need 1 CB, 1 CM and 1 ST. You could argue that we need two decent centre half's I guess but Nelson and Hill are top class and Harry has really stopped a rot at the back.

Its good to see Harry already implementing a formation/stratergy. Its good to see him actually use our players to their strengths. He knows when he can play certain players and when he cant, always throws in a suprise.

It would be a shame to see Samba go, but if it means we improve with a new player and better team then it has to happen.

My thinking with his team - And the options he has or wants to create for himself. Just how I see it and just the payers I think could actually earn a place week in week out as it stands right now. (Excluding fringe players)

    Cesar

    Nedum ---- Hill/New CB ----- Nelson ----- Fabio
    ----------- Mbia ----------- M'Vila/Livermore
    Mackie ---- Adel/Granero/Mvila -------- SWP/Hoillet

    --------------Adel/Zamora-------------

    ----------- Remy ----------

What do we think guys, agree or disagree

Faurlin needs to hit that form he had prior to his injury. No doubt on his potential ability, we just need him to find it again very soon. Otherwise Dezza for me is the better option.

Warnocks biggest mistake - Ruining our amazing AF!! Mind you if we go down that may well be a blessing in disguise haha

Redknapp clearly doesn't rate our centre mid and who can blame him when on his day Shaun Derry still looks about the best we got

He has been a huge disappointment, compared to what we were expecting though, hasn't he?

Again, NO. I think its hard to say he is bad based on the small chances he has had.

We always do this to players, well some fans do. Where they dislike them based on a few bad games. Helguson and Furlong are prime examples!

Maybe the rest of us set our expectations too high then. Although in fairness, Mark Hughes has managed to make everyone look bad.

Exactly this. Won't be making too much judgement on anybody until they get a crack under Arry. Hoilet is not $hit and, IMO, hasn't been for us. Reading, Everton & Spurs games he was mustard - which is more than we can say for most under the Hughes era.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
