they havent really won much more than us in the last 50yrs and always seem to have the air of self entitlement. on the one hand many geordies i know are really hospitable, but theyre extemely bitter about a number of things and cockneys being one of them. i was told on a number of occassions that certain comedians werent funny based on the fact "that they were cockneys like ya noh" , i told them it was a bit rich considering we have to put up with that dumpy geordie bint with the bins polluting the airwaves thanks to them.

Was so glad the other week when Fergie said they were just a wee club. I've been saying that for years.

Take away their fan base, and their just a normal club with no history except a few 2 bob cups from the black and white era.

Leeds, Forrest Derby all bigger clubs than Newcastle IMO

Simple choice playing for a small club that's never won naff all but has a big stadium in Newcastle or playing for a small club that's won naff all but is situated in London ?

I've never thought about us getting relegated.
