Anybody else thinking about not renewing their season ticket next season?

Personally contemplating a break from QPR... Past two seasons have really killed my enthusiasm for going.

Couldn't be bothered to turn up to the Southampton game or West Brom so far this season might give Liverpool at home a miss as well... Definitely won't be going to the FA Cup match.

Personally think the grand spent on my season ticket would be better spent on a holiday, especially if we stay up as matches can be streamed. If we go down it really could be like watching this club die a slow death.

Hopefully a few Ryan Nelson type inspirational players signed in the January transfer window will bring my passion back for watching this club but until that happens and the mercenaries have gone I'm going to fill my days with better things than worrying about QPR.

still would renew next year, atleast youll know where you are at 3pm on a saturday. i was only think about how i usually have for enthusiasm for games when we are either fighting for promotion or battling against relegation yesterday, but come to think of it there havent really been many seasons of mid table obscurity of late.

Bizarre as the same thought kind of crept into my head last night.

After 27 years it is part of my life and not sure I could follow through with NOT actually buying a ticket, but slowly something is changing as I havent even bothered to buy WHU ticket and I wanted to go, Chelsea either, I refused to spend £60 to watch us lose to those t ossers, WBS cup game I cant bear to watch us get out worked and out fought again by the same set of players we saw Saturday, so I havent bought a ticket.

Like you say, a couple of decent signings who actually try and foght for the ball, may change things.

As it stands though, the last 2 seasons have totally drained me mentally.

I am only a member and for my 40 pound I got some nice stuff, travel bag, hat etc do can't really complain but I too have pretty much given up on this set of players.

Get rid of cisse and Bosingwa and bring in players that want to be here and like the above I start showing my support.

The only reason that I've made a fair few home games is Tony Fernandes, just feel sorry for the bloke as he is an owner that has always backed his manager, something we cried out for so no blame on him imo.

I will renew just mainly because I don't want to lose my seat. I have to admit I can't see myself not renewing, it's like a marriage, she puts you down constantly, often humiliated, you sometimes think what would it be like swapping and spending a few naughty weeks being with a successful team, no light at the end of the tunnel and drains you of any spare cash you are lucky enough to accumulate but at the end of the day you be lost without em

it's a tough call ,but it won't take a lot not to renew , as i'm nursing a cold got from the WBA after getting drownded and sitting through another defeat

Thought about this a few times as to be honest on a few rare occasions it has become just a habit rather then an exciting day when its the day of the game though I would not consider missing a game while I still have a season ticket

I say it every year but I fully intend giving up on most of the away days soon and save my cash for England away trips as I have spent an absolute fortune over the last years following the QPR to away games and it really is once in a very rare blue moon that I have thought it was money well spent

Knocked back doing a lot of the away trips this season after doing near on every game for how many years I couldn't tell you & tbh I'm delighted I made that decision. No away win in a year, Saturdays chilling out with my kids rather than up and down sh!tty motorways & not to mention the ££££'s saved. Just not worth the agg. As far as home games go I'd find it very hard to not go but I have said to pals if we go down I won't renew I will just get tickets game by game as you can near on pick them up for £10 a pop.

Understand how everyone feels but I will renew regardless, might sound stupid but this is part of my life. For me QPR is about supporting the shirt and the area that generations of the family have come from.

Thought about it non stop. Simply cannot believe we are going through a repeat of last year. The long drive to Rangers and back to see players who don't seem to care as much as they should. The 12 hour round trip via train and walking on Boxing Day to watch that inept performance.

The only thing I would really miss is the pre match ritual in the pub.

Would genuinely feel a bit guilty for not continuing to support TF, but following Rangers is becoming less important if it is simply to be part of an audience for players and management who clearly don't care as much as we do. It hurts most of us fans and although it sounds silly and childish, it has ruined nearly every week since August.

Maybe, if the team start to show some bottle and fight and get us out of this horrible mess, then I might change my thinking. I sound like a spoilt child, but simply can't help it and it would appear I'm not alone.

Ill be renewing every season regardless. I understand why people wouldnt though. Then again i live in shepherds bush so its not far to go and win/lose/draw its a good crack going with mates.

to be honest depending on where you sit it makes no difference if you are a member. I always can get a seat in the same area i had my season ticket last year.
