Train drivers are the biggest thieves going. Yes they have to work on bank holidays etc. but they get the extra pay for it plus are overpaid in the first place! Should have been made redundant with technology we have now anyway!

We got them with Southern, who were the only ones offering a service on Boxing Day, Ric.

Got the tickets via thetrainline.com and according to The NRE website, they are still showing as operating.

Where did you read about the suspensions? It may be that it is just those routes running. Still, no good if no game anyway.

They get paid good money but its a shi*ty dirty job that I wouldn't do and lets face it there are people in this country earning far more and doing far less. Including some who are earning more and actually doing f*ck all so train drivers are the least of my worries

You have no idea what goes into doing my job , yes i`m well paid ,but i earn that money , when your tucked up in bed , i`m out working , i often dont finish till 2am ,and have starts from 3.50am onwards. I dont know what you do for a living but i bet your not responsible for the lives of hundreds of people, i bet youve never had someone someone commit suicide at your hands , i bet youve never had your workplace ( ie the train i was driving ) catch fire and youve been the responsible person to make sure everyone was safe , i could go on for ages here ....
