I'll get behind the new manager but appointing a manager that has just failed to get a Championship club in to the play offs hardly shows ambition.

If thats the case they should of just kept paulo Sousa.

why do you think us fans have got unrealistic expections? ticket prices arent in proportion. Highest in the league yet we finish midtable?

i am curious to know how you define unrealistic expectations. the facts are, we pay more than other team in our league to watch home games. the owners have promised us premiership football at a minimum. we have multi million pound sponsorship deals which all seem to include a proviso of making the premiership.

with that in mind, i dont think it unreasonable or unrealistic for supporters who are struggling financially and having to make sacrifices to watch their team should expect a little bit more than a failed Ipswich reject.

Please let me know what you believe to be realistic. season after season of high ticket prices and mid table finishes? If so, then we have our man.

i can see that money has been spent and we are better off than we were but where is that commitment to improving now? Jim Bloody Magilton?

I hope come Christmas I am proved wrong but i really doubt that will be the case.

This appointment not only shows the fans the lack of ambition, but the players as well. Just like us, they will know we have employed a manager whose only managerial experience has resulted in 3 seasons of failure at Ipswich.
This guy even has a worse track record than Dowie, and his appointment was only ever going to result in failure.

W12 Ranger is the Fat Iti's and Paladini' poodle i think, who believes his opinion is the only one allowed and if someone else does not agree, they are stupid, unrealistic, expecting to much, ungrateful etc, etc.

What he does no understand is that although he likes being shafted and accepts the ########e they spoon fees us, many others dont and they are just as entitled to an opinion, just like he is.
