Tell them to just pay him FFS. None of this silly bowlocks that's cost us in the past.

Is homer being complicated or the other one?

I though you said "Both" would be confirmed soon on the previous page??

I suppose Marcus Bent is an old hand at moving clubs, and knows how to wrangle a few quid more.
          He's had enough practice.

Well that's the main thing as far as i'm concerned as i think he will prove to be very useful in a team that creates chances, especially with his lighning pace and from what i've seen and heard, knows how to finish...... Could seriously be for us what Campbell was for Hull.

As for Bent, if it is indeed him, i have an open mind, but am under no illusion that he will work wonders as not ever prolific.

Bent offers a lot more than goals though. Him and Simpson together could really work. Without trying to sound disrespectful to Bent...he's a poor mans version of Heskey, and love him or hate him...he works hard, allows the midfield to enter the action and gives his strike partner time and space.

Who is going to be the first one to get "Bent" on their shirt?
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

wouldnt go that far, however he is very quick and should open up things for other players at the very least. very happy with that signing

The player touted as going out on loan is not hence only 1 striker coming in.

The Heskey comparison is a good one. It seems the club have been after a hold em up type of player for a while (Folan etc). I think his experience and Homer's pace could indeed be a good partnership. One that we so desperately need.
