Hughes looking to bolster QPR squad with FC Cluj winger Sougou

QPR have joined the chase for FC Cluj winger Modou Sougou and are watching Montpellier defender Mapou Yang-Mwiba.
Sougou, 27, impressed for Cluj against Manchester United in the Champions League and also scored against Galatasaray.
Swansea and Blackburn have also watched him while QPR scouts went to see him in action for Cluj against Astra Giurgui on Friday. He is available for £2million.

QPR also want another centre-back to help their relegation battle.
They have scouted Sweden's Andreas Granqvist but will watch France international Mapou Yanga Mbiwa, 23, against Arsenal on Wednesday.
The Montpellier captain has only just agreed a new contract but could be available at the right price.

What absolute twoddle. But then its a Daily Mail article so I'm hardly surprised. The largest flaw in their story is that Yanga Mbiwa is still being chased by Arsenal and AC Milan and he wants to sign for the latter.

Nope. Mbiwa is a defender, he nearly joined Milan in the summer and Arsenal were sniffing round him as well.
