I think he has done what good leaders do and let the managers manage and backed them publicly but when they stop producing the goods its time to show your teeth and go for the throat.

When I read this the first thing I thought was is Fernandes throwing in the towel too, I really hope not as the club would be screwed financially!

Like I've said all along, you can't really blame Tony for backing Hughes. It just hasn't worked out unfortunately. That's life, he seems a loyal and genuine guy, the type that when it's not going right for you he's got your back.

Whoever comes in for Sparky, I hope they realise what a great club this is, and how lucky they will be to work for guys like Tony and Amit.
