Zamora... ha ha.... he doesn't even shoot if the goals 5 yards in front of him with no keeper for fear of missing and embarrassing himself, instead he'd turn and pass it to our full back.

As for Zlatan..... yes undeniably brilliant talent, and another who's tarred with the lazy and uninterested tag very often. Pure class though. Every one of those goals had something superb about them, be it movement, touch, control, strike etc... top drawer.

What a way to christen their brand new stadium though, prestige friendly against england, and one of the best players they've ever had, if not the best, scores 4 top class goals to win the match.

I've been singing his praises for years, and I remember when people laughed when I said he was the best striker in the world. His career and records speaks for its self.

Yes, the fact he has done it all over Europe, scored goals at the top clubs and won titles in different countries.

The arrogance of some English pundits is sad - they have suggested he is not all that because he hasn't done it in th PL and has had the occassional quiet game against PL clubs. Narrow minded. A great player.

35 goals in 74 games for Ajax
              23 in 70 for Juve
              57 in 88 for Inter
              16 in 29 for Barca
              42 in 61 for Milan
              10 in 9 for PSG

Thats his league goals record from Ajax onwards - speaks for itself: unbelievebale record across Europe's top leagues.

Also has won the league with every club he has been at (bar PSG as he hasnt had a full season there yet but no doubt they will win it this year). Arrogant so & so, but so long as he is backing it up with these kinda goals, who can knock him!

Add to that winning 8 league titles in a row.
Only player ever to score in the Champions league for 6 different teams.
39 goals in 85 games for Sweden.
People say he don't do it in big games? Scored the winner in El Classico, Scored the winner in Milan Derbys, etc etc.
Dont do it against English teams? Past 2 games against England he has destroyed us, destroyed Arsenal for Milan and Barca.

But because he don't graft like Jamie Mackie, English press and fans think his crap!

Furthermore Trevor also had to beat the goalkeeper. This was a great goal but Trev's was better.

Exactly mate. As you say, I dont buy into this whole myth that he cant do it vs English clubs, the 2 games youve mentioned above he has tore English oppo apart. IMO, he would be superb in the PL, he is a strong player with unbelievable technique. Half the time peoples arguements for foreign players not making it in the PL is something along the lines of "the likes of Stoke would kick them all over the park and they wouldnt want to knwo" - cant imagine Ibra being too phased by Huth & Shawcross tbh!

When I was about 12 I asked that ba$tard for a signature outside the ground and he ran into the club shop and asked them to lock the door. True story.

I wasnt sweat. I was covered in Vaseline. It prevents peadophiles grabbing me. A technique I still use to this day.
