I worry that we have too many fans who worry for no reason, panic-mongers if you like. The season is under-way, it isn't nearly done or decided already. Fact is, we are in a hole - not relegated already.
We'll finish above the bottom 3. Regardless of who is in charge, have a bit of faith and bloody think positive.
Doom and gloom? I'm ****ing sick of it. We DON'T know yet what will transpire for the rest of this season.

3 teams in 20 years i thought i read somewhere survived not being relegated after a similar start to us....not looking good is it?Originally posted by Blunders View PostI worry that we have too many fans who worry for no reason, panic-mongers if you like. My quiet confidence that we would turn around our poor start to finish mid-table has turned to resignation that we are going down.
I am now quietly confident that TF will not allow relegation to turn us into Pompey 2.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

I'm all for a bit of optimism in these dark days but how does anyone actually KNOW that "we'll be fine". I only say this as I know of little evidence that backs up such a definite statement. Perhaps people might be better off saying "I hope we'll be fine". In fact I'll say it: "I hope we'll be fine".

That one had me going for a little while also, but having thought about it: The point was that only three teams in 20 years had survived after not winning any of their first 10 games. However, what was missing was the number of teams over that period that had failed to win any of their first 10 games. Maybe those three teams were the only ones in 20 years who had failed to win any of their first 10 games, in which case the stats would say our chances of survivial are very good! I know that's not likely, but how many teams over 20 years have failed to win any of their first 10 games? Maybe an average of 1 per year (just a wild guess)? Still doesn't look good, but 3/20 is still 15% which isn't hopeless.Originally posted by QPRDave View Post3 teams in 20 years i thought i read somewhere survived not being relegated after a similar start to us....not looking good is it?'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf.
