That's exactly why I offered other, less exotic examples. But what you're really saying is TF's ambitions are not what they seemed - otherwise, why not hire a contender? I bet Hughes is on a really attractive package, part of which doubtles means getting rid isn't easy, hence the delay.

BTW Harry would not be my first choice, but for me he does have more tactical awareness than Hughes.

It would be really interesting to know details of Highes' employment package.

Were you saying that after the Stoke game when we had recently beaten Liverpool, Arsenal, Swansea, Spurs & Stoke?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I find it baffling when people make comments saying that Hughes should stay in place and he'll turn it around. How do they know and what is it based on? His QPR record? It's dreadful.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Imo any manager with such a poor away record is missing some quality that is vital in a premier league manager. Those 5 home wins when our backs were to the wall was great except each game was followed by an away defeat. Something about Hughes's management of our club must be wrong for us to go without an away win since he arrived and its soon to be a year. Just 6 wins from 28 games speaks for itself and is indefensible. Hughes is in a results driven industry and he is not bringing any results. We stayed up on the last day of the season after yet another defeat thanks to results elsewhere. That was a reprieve for us fans and for Hughes himself but it seems that 12 players incoming later we still look only marginally improved from last season.

Could the same not be said of any incoming manager you name Richard??

Yes, and new managers always start with a blank canvass, but do you not think Hughes has had long enough to prove himself?

The evidence points clearly shows we have not improved on last season, we've got worse. That is an undeniable fact no matter how some might want to differ.

This is very difficult for me to decide. First off I don't include last seasons games in judging him, so for me he's had 10 games. Now I know were are approaching the 3rd of the season mark (12 games) and this to me is starting to get very concerning. Ok for me I'd give him till the Sunderland game ....if we don't get 5 points from the next 4 games min we need a change, although 7 points is what we have to aim for.
But thats as long as were not robbed by some ***** of an official and we have a decent candidate lined up.
