I still don't think he was going to be our answer again this season. His average scoring record in thechampionship is 7-14 goals which just isn't good enough. We needed another striker even back then.

Why would Leeds want to take on a player who is on a massive weekly wage and not doing the biz at a higher level?
We've been saddled with some pretty average players for 3 years + on money that they could only have dreamed of - they may go if we agree to pay a % of their salary I suppose (as leeds did back in the mad years due to O'Lairy & Grimsdale's tenure).

IMHO would NOT have Kasper as any makeweight and I would also stick to the max budget we have!!!

End of the day, it's the club that counts and what is needed to take it forward, not individual players. If a deal can be done that includes Gorkss, and that's the only alternative, then go ahead and do it. We would still have three quality CBs, plus Oastler as cover.

As others have said though, can't imagine any way Gorkss would drop a league, or indeed any of our other three CBs. A deal including Big Pat would be excellent business IMO.

I wd be deveasted to see Gorks go, but given the choice between losing our second best defender and gaining one decent striker, I'm afraid it wd be a no brainer. Gorkks and Connolly would be my first pick in a QPR 11. Anybody who puts them on the bench (unless not 100% fit) is a complete and utter ***** and should not be trusted with a football team. As for selling Gorkks for an over rated 3rd division striker, well beggars belief!!
