we played very defensive lat season. we could have played any centerback pairing and kept a clean sheet. remember gorkss also made some terrible mistakes last season. he is not the player some make out. fitz hall hasn't done much wrong this season. i would happily have him and connelly as centerbacks for the rest of the season. we need a striker more than we need gorkss.

lets be realistic he is nearly 28 and is unlikley to get any better. would he really cope if we did get to the premier league. i really don't think so.

I would be happy with that.Would rather keep Gorkks than Stewart.Gorkks is more solid IMO.Would rather offload Stewart or Hall and have Connolly and Gorkks at CB.

Why not put in a bid for someone like David Nugent.All Portsmouth players are up for grabs and he is proven at this level,unlike Beckford.
