Blame the players not MH this time

I am not defending Mark Hughes, but yesterday I think he choosed the line up almost most of us wanted and as usual we conceded a goal inside the first 15 mnutes like most games. Has anyone noticed that we always start poorly? You can't win If you don't focus, keep your composure and put your best efforts for the whole 90 minutes. Football is about two halves not one. We had one good half v West Ham and lost, one good half v Reading and didn't win, good last 10 mins v Arsenal/WBA and lost.

How can we have some Champions League winners and we are still in the relegation zone? I think I now agree with Lee Cook about players here only for money. I think PJS and Bowsingwa are some of them.

Stoke and Southampton are both must win now.

The squad isn't good enough in terms of cover up front and at the back........100% Hughes fault. The tactics are virtually non existent........100% Hughes fault. The team are playing with zero morale and no leadership...........Park Ji Sung as club captain, need I say more.....100% Hughes fault.

Had enough of listening to people defending him, if I was as woefully inept at my job as Hughes has been for us I would be embarrassed to show up every day and quite rightfully, would have been sacked many months back. The guy needs to go today!

    In Harry we trust!

Tarbie agree on the point about PJS not being a good captain and that we have no morale. Sparky saved us last season. I am not defending him, but he cannot be 100% responsible. My worry is If Harry takes over is that he will start spending heavily and we end up like Portsmouth. To be honest we are in a position that any action is risky whether keeping him or replacing him, but surely a quick action needs to be taken.

If it's the players fault and not the manager's, why did Hughes wait until the 81st minute to make the first change?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Sparky didn't save us last season Yousef, we were saved because Bolton were too poor to take their opportunity to stay up.

As for being the next Portsmouth, that is exactly what will happen if Hughes is not sacked now!

OK then lets go with the squad aren't good enough so what will a new manager do different? And I take it you guys are all for TF and backers to dig deep again and bring in more players in jan, so more time needed to gel, and this is the same TF being slagged off for not sacking Hughes. Some of our supporters need to take a look at themselves, we've turned into a load of demanding brats.
I'm not convinced by any means by MH after yesterday, but again it was better, Cisse was better even though still quiet, I don't think MH has too much longer tbh, but Arry will have the same mistake prone players as Hughes so I don't get the absolute conviction that he'll do better

                  Just posted in another thread.......

you say Highes did nothing wrong today....he is the manager and is responsible for motivation, tactics and getting the players in the right frame of mind to win games. There is a lot more to managment than picking the best starting 11.

The responsibility stops with the manager. He is doing a woeful job at the moment and has had 2 fully backed windows. How can it be anyone else's fault?

Fault has nothing to do with it. The question is whether a) Fernandes can afford to bring in yet another manager and all the new transfers etc that go with it and b) whether yet another revolution will improve things or make things worse. Fully accept that Hughes doesn't seem to be doing a great job (yet again the players started flat - his pep talks cant be that motivational - and surely we have tested to destruction the idea of Mackie as a starter). But no coincidence that teams who sack their managers regularly are all in lower leagues and heading further south.

Of course fault has to do with it. If it isn't MH's fault then we should not part company with him - it is as simple as that.

Oh and Man City change their manager more often than most and they are the champions. You can dig out examples both sides quite easily.

Think you'll need a better example than that Silver. They've only had one change since their takeover bringing in their own man.

                            Time for a reality check.
IMO we DO NOT HAVE one of the weakest squads in the PL. I can think of at least 6 teams wo do not have our quality and a further 4 or 5 who I think are comparable.
I believe EVERY OTHER MANAGER in the PL would have done better with our players.
Anyone who disagrees is deluded, blind or stupid.
Our players are not tactically aware, defensively are all over the place from set pieces especially and start nearly evey game lacking any fire or passion. The only game we seem to have started with the right mentality was Spurs away, where we were quick out the traps and except for Friedel would have been at least 3 up at HT.
All the issues above are down to poor coaching, lack of motivation and a clear inability to get the best our of the players.
Say what you like about Redknapp but at least there's some passon there and enthusiasm. I don't see that with MH.
Last season, we won 10 games and stayed up by the skin of our teeth.
WE KNOW HAVE TO WIN 1O GAMES FROM 28 AND THAT MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH ANYWAY
It took 16 years of pain to get up and less than a season of MH to destroy us

                              Busheyboy,

Hard to disagree with a word of that, other than the possibility of Redknapp being the answer.

We just need a GOOD manager, rather than an inept one. Or if MH is any good at all, it is about time he demonstrated it.
