We just have to win tomorrow! we're 6 points off 17th.
Can't rely on others we have to do our own work Hughes has 3 games that are winnable

Reading, Stoke, Southampton , no wins here he is gone? But all may be too late for us bottom 3 now 5 points adrift

how can it be too late when three quarters of the season is still to play? in the 86th minute against stoke last season lots of people thought it was too late for us, then look what happened. and we are not remotely at that stage yet.

If that is the attitude of the whingers I just hope they leave their moaning and groaning till the final whistle. with our players low on confidence it will be hard enough playing against reading without having to play against some of our so-called "fans" as well. if we do go a goal down or miss a few easy chances we have to remain behind them.

This was said before Reading in the Cup and West Ham in the league however the confidence of fans has not resulted in results on the board.

Should we win? yes we should, but my fear is however bad Reading are they have goals in their team and they will score in my opinion; therefore will we score two or more goals to get more then a draw?????

I was nervous about the Reading match before today but it's just become that much more important to win! Yes there are lots of points to play for but I feel a failure to win tomorrow could see us spiral out of control and on our way down!

never saw this season as anything other than a relegation scrap so not too down-heartened. am confident of getting something from the game tomorrow, if we don't we move on to the next game. no point jumping off a bridge over it.

Fair play mate. I have to hold my hands up to being one of the optimists pre season who saw us accruing a minimum of 55points.

My concern is under Hughes I cannot see things changing. The way I see it West Ham could go fourth if they win tonight; If Hughes was managing them with the exact same players would they be where they are now or nearer to where we are?? vice versa if Big Sam was in charge of us would we be bottom very confident the answer to both is No.

If we were attacking sides and looking like scoring I would be more optimist and would perhaps argue he his given more time but the recipe at the moment is we look like conceding but don’t look like scoring at the other end.

I think we are wasting games giving Hughes the chance to hang himself

Think Hughes has made a couple of errors in his transfer strategy in two very important positions. The first we all saw coming and thats at centre half, really need a big dominant winner, think he realized but left it too late when Dawson turned us down. Second is up front, Zamora looks shot, Johnson was always injury prone but his long term injury has killed us and finally Cisse doesn't look like he is the player many thought he was.

Hughes is a good manager and not for one minute do I think sacking him is the way forward but he does need to be more positive tomorrow and go all out for the win. Reading are poor at the back and we need to hurt any confidence they have left early on.
